Here’s a nice little interview with Jonathan and Alex at the Q Awards Gig last Sunday. They are actually being interviewed in the shower! It’s a bit melancholy to watch as they talk about winning (or not winning) awards and we found out this morning that Get To Heaven was not shortlisted for the 2015 Mercury Prize. They are still up for Best Album at the Q Awards on Monday and voting for this has now closed.
Everything Everything played an exclusive gig at Under The Bridge, a small club in the grounds of Chelsea Football Club, last night. The gig was the first in a series to celebrate the upcoming Q Awards (EE are nominated for Best Album – go and give them a vote HERE). Tickets were free but very limited in number and it ‘sold-out’ within an hour or so.
After the gig, Jonathan was interviewed by Q Magazine. It’s an interesting little chat…he talks about seeing familiar faces from Twitter in the audience and about the band uniforms (including Alex’s wardrobe malfunction and Pete’s ‘spice rack’!)

To celebrate the upcoming Q Awards show that Everything Everything are performing at on Sunday, Jonathan took over the Q Twitter account at 5pm today to answer fan questions for around 50 minutes. To make it much easier to read, I’ve collected all the questions and answers in Storify:

This evening the shortlists for the 2015 Q Awards were announced and Everything Everything’s Get To Heaven has been nominated for Best Album. The other nominees are: Jamie XX (In Colour), Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (Chasing Yesterday), Blur (The Magic Whip) and Florence & The Machine (How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful).
As before in the initial shortlisting process, fans need to vote for their favourite album and it appears that you can vote as many times as you want! Follow us on Twitter to get a daily (if we remember) reminder to vote EE.
