News – New Everything Everything Single!

After a video teaser last week, the band announced today that their first single from their upcoming, as yet un-named, 4th album will be played for the first time tomorrow (Tuesday 13 June).  Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac will play the new tune as her ‘Hottest Record In The World’ and you can listen in at 7pm BST by visiting the Radio 1 web site.

The new single appears to be called ‘Can’t Do’.

Here’s the announcement tweet which includes a little video clip:

I expect the video will be premiered very soon afterwards on YouTube, assuming the same approach as before.

News: Later With Jools – 13th October

Everything Everything will be making their third appearance on the UK’s premier music TV show, Later with Jools.  The show is broadcast twice during the week – a live, half-hour show at 10pm on Tuesday 13th October and then an extended 70 minute repeat with extra performances late on the following Friday.  Other performers that night will include John Newman, Sleaford Mods and Burt Bacharach.

More details here.

Here are a couple of videos of the band’s first performance on Later, back in October 2010,  Unfortunately recordings of their 2013 performance (where they performed Cough Cough and Kemosabe) have been removed from YouTube.
